Concept to Script
Work on the outline and re-organize the different parts of the story. The more elaborate the story becomes the more functionalities you use.
Many different views
Within Skrimta you can view all the pages within a chapter, you can view all the pages of all the chapters, focus on only the text or focus on a single page text/image.
Story Foundation
Kickstart your project with guided fields for beginnings, summaries, and narrative structure. These editable prompts help you shape your concept before writing a single scene.
Share externally
Create external links to be shared with family and friends and get feedback on each separate page. Control which pages you want to share.
Work together
Invite other skrimta users to collaborate with you on different projects. View all your work and shared works in one dashboard.
Sketch & Structure
Quickly sketch page layouts and panel placements to guide the final artwork. A simple visual tool to plan composition before diving into detailed art.
Easy to Use
The best ideas start with frustration.
Skrimta was born from the struggle of trying to organize the writing process using tools that just didn’t work—Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs, even some dedicated writing apps. Nothing felt right. So I started building Skrimta to bring structure to my own storytelling and to better collaborate with others.
Now, it’s ready to support other graphic novel writers in creating their best work.
I hope you enjoy using it as much as I’ve enjoyed building it.

About me
Hi, I’m Petrit Kabashi, a freelance marketeer with a long-standing passion for comics and graphic novels. That passion was reignited about seven years ago, just before the pandemic. Like many fans, I’d always dreamed of writing my own graphic novel—and two years ago, I finally decided to go for it.
I didn’t know much about the comic industry or writing, so I took writing courses and spent countless hours learning from YouTube. But even with all that, I couldn’t find the right software to help me organize my ideas and bring them to life. That’s what led me to create Skrimta.
My hope is that Skrimta helps other writers get started—and stay motivated—to create powerful, inspiring stories. I’m excited to welcome as many storytellers as possible into the Skrimta community.
